I've uploaded my own version of xwp here - ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/xworkplace/

This version is very similar to the ones Rich released a while ago. Differences are described in the included .txt file

1) Power off/shutdown delay (apm.c) is set to 250ms in official builds. This
time is known to be too short for some systems. One of my system sporadically
does not fully switch off with this setting. 500ms works most of the time but it
needs 700ms to shut down reliable. My XWP builds defaults to 700ms. But you can
configure your own value by setting XWP_SHUTDOWN_DELAY environment variable.
F.i. adding 'SET XWP_SHUTDOWN_DELAY=1500' in config.sys increases the delay to
1500ms. Values from 250 to 3100 are allowed. Check setting 'Write XSHUTDWN.LOG
file' (Desktop - Properties - XShutdown) and an entry will be created for that
in this file in your %LOG% directory.

2) My XWP builds still uses the standard shutdown dialog with configurable names
for reboot options.

Maybe 1) is of interest for Doug.

Unfortunately I'm not a trac/xwp admin. So I can't add a proper ticket category. When you create a ticket at netlabs please specify exactly which build you're using.

Thanks for the update. I'm just trying it on the ArcaOS 5.0.6 VM and it is working fine.

No. I've write access to the svn at netlabs. But I'm not a trac admin for this project. I created a new branch (\branch_AB) and checked in the sources there. I like to have sources at that one place where all current maintainers have access and check in their work.

I found this issue on "Unofficial xwp XWorkplace 1.0.13" (Check screenshot) . Can you confirm if it work fine on your side?
(Installed over ArcaOS 5.0.6)

There is something wrong with the NLS translation. You've rebooted after installing? I think it's sometimes (always?) not enough to restart the Desktop to read the new string resources.

You're using the EN version, right? I've no such problem with the DE version. I have to test the EN version on ArcoOS. Will do in the next days.

Didn't even think that there could be something go wrong with different languages. Please wait for an update.

Edit: I've refreshed the packages at ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/xworkplace/. It was a missing 'end of comment' marker in most of the language resource files.

I don't remember if I rebooted, so I rebooted again the VM and the error remains. I'm using the english version with ArcaOS 5.0.6
