Startup and Shutdown

XStartup: restart automatically after fixing the order of class-replacements
XShutdown: add "XWP_ACPIDELAY=xxx" environment variable to change the default shutdown delay of 250ms

Have you read my comment on the ticket? Have you taken my code from the branch or developed your own solution for the same problem?

Thanks.

Yes, this is in direct response to your ticket. If you say you need it, there's no reason you should have to compile a new version to get it. OTOH, extremely few people need anything more than the default 250ms (if that), so the option is not exposed in the GUI.

BTW... all code for v1.0.15 has been committed to the repo at Netlabs. This feature was added in revision 1452. Use "svn diff -c 1452" to get the diff.

Hi Rich, thanks for making the internal delay configurable. I have set it to 700 after installing your version 1.0.15 over Andi's last one and shutdown works now properly again. (Take my MSI FM2+ system as one that needs more delay than your default value of 250 ms. And there are surely more who don't like the beeps of the other delay.)

Added: Just found the mentioned ticket. Add here's Rich's rev. 1452 in Trac.

All I can say is that I recommend uninstallig any old version you have first.

That's usually not required. Without details that lead to a reproducible scenario, that's not very useful.

Hello
I wanted to suggest a new tool, for the XWP.
And it is being able to know if you are on capital letters or minuscular,
on keyboard and numbers, and the Insert key is ON or OFF.

First I happened to me with a laptop that had an LED on each key,
could be changed even in color, but did not have any LED for the status of the
  capital keyboard.
A short time after the same thing happened when I buy a wifi keyboard.
I am very clumsy, I know it.

I have solved it my way with Rexx and the PMVIEW, and making an icon like this,
which I attached, plus another seven icons.
But although it works, I think it is a waste of resources.
And in some programs like the Thunderbird, I lose the focus by clicking on capital letters.
In the icon that attached them, the red light is on. It has 3 lights, one for each line,
 which indicates
A = text in red capital,
+ - = numbers on in red
---- = Insert in red on

Saludos
