Dave has a later build of the dooble.exe that appears to work.

Try a different user agent as whatsapp seems to have crappy browser detection, it wants Chrome 60+ which Dooble is.
Go to settings-->Web and paste this into the user agent field, press Apply and reload the whatsapp page.
