RDP Server for OS/2?

(1/2) > >>

ChrisGWarp:
Hi Everyone.

FreeRDP is great as a client. But I want to go the other way. I want a RDP Server for OS/2.

OS/2 server is sitting in a VM, and I'd like to remotely administer it from a Windows host (or I guess I could use the FreeRDP client to remote admin OS/2 from another OS/2, but that's not really likely in my case).

What are my options?

Paul Smedley:
Hey Chris,

What VM are you using? I'm pretty sure VirtualBox has a built in server that can be connected to. https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-connect-to-a-virtualbox-vm-desktop-remotely/

Cheers,

Paul

VNC server and VNC client by Andrey Vasilkin.

The server is compatible with UltraVNC on Windows and does file transfer.

Hi Chris,

Long time no see/hear.
If you can, I would recommend VNC, thats what I use for my headless OS/2 server.
Can we assume you want RDP as that is what you are already using for everything else?
