Samples for VDD Drivers

(1/2) > >>

Martin Iturbide:
Hi

I'm trying to assist someone to learn/create a VDD driver, and he told me that there are no VDD samples on the driver DDK (2004 iso).

Can somebody help me to confirm that or had some other newer VDD samples that used to be on IBMs website?

Regards

Lars:
Don't know, but for fun, I had written a very limited VDD sample driver that does not much more than being properly built and loading (it gives some idea of how to properly thunk stack based addresses, which is a special challenge with VDDs). I can provide that.

Martin Iturbide:
Yes Lars, I have interest.

For the moment I had seached the OS2World Github and I think I found some samples:
- https://github.com/OS2World/DRV-VDDs-GoSierra
- https://github.com/OS2World/DEV-SAMPLES-DRV-DRVLIB/tree/master/VDD

Regards

ivan:
Obviously you are not using VDD in the sense of it being the positive voltage in the power supply, so what do you mean by it?
