Mouse single-click in WPS

<< < (2/2)

Pete:
Hi Ramon

If you have a 3 button mouse you may want to experiment with Mappings ->  Page 6 -> MB3 Click Action

The Help states: If "Double click" is selected, then all MB3 clicks will be converted to mouse-button-1 double clicks. This allows you, for example, to single-click on any Desktop object with button 3 to have the object opened.

It does work - but if you have MB3 setup to open a new tab in a browser you get the original page and the new tab both loading the link you clicked. To get around this use Ctrl-Click (MB1) instead of MB3.

Along those lines, if you have more buttons, others can be set for single click too. My mouse has 5 buttons with button 4 changing scrolling vertical/horizontal and button 5 pushing the current window to the back, both could be changed to single click.

Right, fixed, Pete.
It works as you say using the middle mouse button. But I have to disable it before to open the browser on the host, because I'm using VirtualBox.
Although somewhat elaborate, it's okay, thanks. :) :) :)

Hi

That's a good workaround I didn't know. Thanks for sharing that Pete.
