First off, thank you kindly for reminding me of AVID. I happened across this website one late night and totally forgot it's name the day after.
While I don't have much to add, I just wanted to say that this is an excellent find! Aside from MELORISE and GLIDE, which were WAVs found in some version of MS Office, I haven't heard a lot of these sounds at this level of quality.

Here's a remake of the Warp 3 startup sound I quickly threw together in Audacity. I'm almost tempted to waste a bit of spare time throwing together some "updated" sound schemes.
