NetDrive error message
(1/1)
Neil Waldhauer:
When I boot ArcaOS 5.1 my Lenovo ThinkCentre M920, I get the following error from NetDrive:
OSSS32_Initialize: FAILEDpci_register_driver: query_device found fb 8086:a348 class=40380 checking bt87xUnable to attach 32-bit driver.
And yet I can still mount a drive using ArcaMapper.
What does it mean?
David McKenna:
Hey Neil,
That's really strange, 8086:a348 is a sound chip: 'https://linux-hardware.org/?id=pci:8086-a348-1043-86c7'. Are you sure it is NetDrive giving the error? OSSS32 also implies UniAud somehow (it is based on ALSA). If really NetDrive, are you using some plugin besides smb?
Regards,
Paul Smedley:
Agree - looks like an error from uniaud32.sys - not netdrive....
Dave Yeo:
Open an issue at Arca Noae, seems that David A. has a program/driver that may fix the PCi register problem.
Neil Waldhauer:
Thank you!
All that was wrong was /A:1 on the UniAud32.Sys line when it wasn't needed. I suppose the error message could have been more helpful, but I removed /A:1, and sound works and I don't see any error message.
