Asus TUF Gaming B550-Plus (wi-fi)

(1/1)

Eric Erickson:
Over in the Hardware Wiki there is listed the https://www.os2world.com/wiki/index.php?title=Asus_TUF_Gaming_X550-Plus_(wi-fi), but I can not find such a motherboard on the web. There is a Asus TUF Gaming B550-Plus (wi-fi), which I have as a replacement for the DW Windows 10 machine. Is this a typo on the hardware Wiki? Since since I've just built it, I slapped an old 160 GB SATA Drive in it before I ported the M.2 SSD from the old machine, just to see how Arca0S 5.1 installs on it. During the install the network adapter was not discovered. Are there any drivers for the network adapter (either wired for wireless). This has the Asus 2.5GB Realtek RTL8125B 2.5Gb Ethernet Adapter.

Once the install is on, I'll get the hardware report off it and upload it.

Eugene Tucker:
The board I submitted was a TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) This was cut right from Asus's website on the board. The typo could have been mine.

Ok, I found that board. So it looks like the Wiki has the wrong name, as its listed as a TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (WI-FI).

Thanks for the correction Eugene.
I had change it to: Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus (wi-fi)

If you still have that motherboard arround and want to give more detail of what is working and what is not with ArcaOS 5.1 let me know. Or if you can share the hardware report (pci.exe) will be great too.

Regards

Eugene Tucker:
Martin, It works totally in CSM I have not tried UEFI do to laziness. But one thing is someone wil have to look for Paul Smedly's last drop of uniaud for sound to work. No problems at all.
