Best Email Program on ArcaOS

<< < (3/3)

Craig Miller:
I live in the US (TN to be more specific).

I am just looking for a way to check my email (and leave it on the server, so no downloading).

I am a long time OS/2 user (back form 2.1) but also a typical user where I know what I am doing but never really digging deep (programing, etc).

I wish there was an easy way to just get my email, and since our browser is so old (and I am excited for a newer one like Dooble), I am not even able to go that route (webmail).

I appreciate everyone's comments, so for right now I don't think there are any great ways of getting email (other apps included) but I will try and see how the gmail setup is though outlook is my primary email because of work).

If I am able to get any of them (outlook, gmail, or yahoo) working I will let everyone know!

Thanks!!!

Thomas M.:
Hallo Craig,

For me the best Email program is PMMail although I right now have some trouble with sendung Emails as my Provider has changed something which I up to now do not really understand. But I hope I will do in the near future.

as also Andy B. wrote, Seamonkey email client fits the need.
Just configure the account in IMAP mode to leave your messages on the server.
I have it working for GMAIL.
To make the client connection work, you will just be required to create a specific "App Password" for Seamomkey in the security section of your GMAIL account settings page.
