Martin Iturbide:
When I run it I get this:

--- Code: ---[media-downloader] Failed to find executable "bsdtar"

In my case it works. But I noticed that it depends on the video. It seems that there some newer format that give some kind of error.

I deleted the ./config stuff of mediadownloader just to see how it was the first run. It gave me:

I did a:
 yum install bsdtar
to install bsdtar and the error message was removed about it was gone.

i don't know if we have deno ported.

No, It is a stand alone JavaScript interpreter based on the V8 (Chrome) engine. Perhaps if we get a newer browser.

Remy:
Will it work with python 3.9 ?
How to safe install python 3 without disturbing python 2 under arcaos v5.1.1 with valid Arca noae support ?

Sure. First try python --version to see what you have installed, here,

--- Code: ---H:\tmp>python --version
Python 3.13.2

--- End code ---
if you need to install Python3, IIRC, "yum install python2.7 python3" then "yum update"

Hi,

I was at python 2.7.6
I run suggested commands and it ended correctly.
After update, I have python 2.7.18 + 3.9.21

Rum mediadownloader and this time, I've got a message telling min supported python version is 3.10 ! So, this version is unsupported by Arca Noae support...
I think the the readme into mediadownloader should be updated including minimum requirements about python 3.10 and cmd line to upgrade from python2 to python 3.

python 3.12 is on experimental repository !
I suppose
