SeaMonkey 2.35a1
« on: February 23, 2016, 02:12:13 am »
Hi I've uploaded a preview of SeaMonkey 2.35 to bitbucket in five part harmony :) https://bitbucket.org/dryeo/dry-comm-esr31/downloads/seamonkey-2.35a1.en-US.os2.zip along with .z01-.z04 to get around upload problems I've been having.
If anyone wants to concat the zips together, I can give write access.

This build is a few commits behind the recent bitwise release of FF38esr. Still using the internal Cairo so printing should still work (untested). Requires the new fontconfig. and otherwise the same requirements as 2.28.
One known issue is https://github.com/bitwiseworks/mozilla-os2/issues/152, fixed after I built this, there is a workaround mentioned in the issue.
I'll upload a version equal to the current FF release as well as TB when I get a chance.
Dave

Thanks Dave! This seems to work well... printing does work here and there are none of the odd display issues seen in the Firefox version. I'll stick with this version until they get the printing stuff worked out with Firefox (I do a good bit of printing).

Thanks Dave for the work !

I can upload the file. One question on the parts, do you unzip them one at a time ?

I used Odin WinRar to do it (just selected all) and a message popup about one file dup application.ini I think, but it started up and ran fine.

Thanks Dave - and Andreas.

I tried to download the five parted files yesterday, but only the first part had the size of about 10 MB, the others were empty. Concatenation had failed, of course. It looks like the download of the single 54.2 MB has succeeded now.
