Applications / lSwitcher v 2.94
« on: May 14, 2024, 07:17:31 pm »
lSwitcher v 2.94 has been released.

New Features
  • Text Size
It now uses the system fonts in most places so it should work with the XWP/Styler text size feature.
A big thanks to Rich Walsh and Alex Taylor.
  • Large Icons
Both the widget (requires XWP 1.0.16 or higher) and stand alone exe now support large icons.
Updates and Bugfixes
  • Dialogs
Improved the layout of some of the dialogs.
  • Other Changes
    • Fixed a trap that sometimes occurred when opening the sub-menu on a button group.
    • The hook is now unloaded from memory on exit.
    • Refactored parts of the widget code to reduce its memory foot print.
    • Changed the increments used for auto hide delay from tenths of a second to seconds.

Programming / Which GCC compiler version do people recommend?
« on: May 04, 2019, 09:30:43 pm »
Hi

I am building PMMail with gcc 4.92. If I use -O1 or -O2 optimization pmmail traps on loading a folder. If I use -Og or none it works fine. I am thinking this might be caused by a defect in 4.92. I am wondering what newer gcc version people recommend so I can test this theory?

Thanks

Gregg

Applications / mmioMP3.dll update
« on: July 28, 2014, 02:55:28 am »
Hi

I just updated mmioMP3.dll to use the latest libmad and fixed an annoying problem where it thought almost everything was an mp3. It works with my mp3s all 5 of them but I think broader testing is in order. As you might guess I fixed this for reasons that have nothing to do with MP3 my motivation was fixing some multimedia issues with FM/2. Before I distribute it broadly I would like others to test it on a broader range of mp3 files. Please let me know if I have broken mp3s that at one time worked. If you already have mp3 support installed just replace the dll in your mmos2\dll directory (backup the old one) with the one attached. If you don't already have it install you will need to wait until I get some verification that I haven't broken anything and I have time to update the install package.
