Thanks for sharing this Jan-Erik.

I also want to upload it to hobbes.
Is this your eight release? Does it replace 1 to 7 version?

I had also created a wiki page for it to don't forget about it:

Thanks Dave.  It compiles here with the warnings.

I put your changes here:
https://github.com/OS2World/APP-GRAPHICS-Mandelbrot

I just made some little silly text changes to show the bldlevel info and updated the "about" text.

Hello

I tried to compile it, but I suck. Only warnings, but I fail with the linker.

Thanks Rich. I will do some testing with fresh install and open the ticket to Arca Noae.

In other subject, I found a lot of value in your update to oo (version 1.15) that you posted here on the forums. I was wondering if you can also post it to HobbesArchive to replace version 1.10.

Hi Rich.

Thanks for your reply.

I used OO 1.15 (2023-10-12) that you posted on the forum. (I don't know if there is a newer one). Run "oo /B C:\sys\icons\WhiteLightBlue MMFolder" and changed the Class type of the folder to MMFolder.

But it still does not render the .png files as thumbnails to be shown on the desktop.

On the picture (IconFolder.png), the calculator shows the icon, but it is because I saved the file with PMView and I guess it is showing the bitmap icon, not the PNG.

I think that it may be some problem on my WPS, after a reboot, it shows the first icons and not the rest (MMPNGIcons.png)
All the files (PNG files) on the folder are using the MMPNG class.

Hello Pete

PMView is the default application to open PNG files. But I don't think that should affect to see the thumbnail on the desktop.
Is there any other setting that can produce this ?

Hello

Here are some questions I have.

1) Do you think it is worthy to try to document the undocumented functions on an API?

For example: "GpiAbortPath"  (Check the EDM/2 page)
2) Do you think it is good to try to document what it is "believed/supposed" this functions does, specifying it is undocumented?

I searched on the OS2World github any reference to "GpiAbortPath", there is no information, only that it exists on pmgpi library.

3) Is there any trick to try to find what is the syntax and parameters of "GpiAbortPath"?

Hello

What do you think it is the issue that is shown on the pic?
The PNG files on the upper folder does not show as thumbnail icons.

It is ArcaOS 5.1.1 with Dynamic Icons 2.5.6

Hello JTA.

This is the Mission Statement of Warpstock.

Quote
Warpstock Corporation is an organization of volunteers dedicated to promoting education, information, and social opportunities to those persons interested in computer operating systems and related software through the production of at least an annual technology conference.

JTA, What are your ideas?

1) Having a "Paid Virtual Presence Attendee" is a good idea, but we require the software, machine and labor to make it work.
Even if we can work out something with open source software, I still require the labor of someone operating the virtual conference to give turns to the people to speak from "remote" to the "local" event.

But I think it is good idea and maybe something can be work out, like some live and shorter meetings, outside the main Warpstock event, to try to learn and understand how to set up and manage that kind of thing.

Hi Mertin, do you know https://bigbluebutton.org/
more - https://docs.bigbluebutton.org/
May be it could be interesting

(there is a full fonction demo link)
Thanks Remy

The platform looks good.
I will keep testing it with more people

2) Promoting the Presentations.
Yes, that's a weak point and I take that for the board.

3) Improving the Website
I also think that the site is complex. But I'm more worried right now for the stability of the Warpstock site.
Yes, I had seen that other conferences sites are very simple. Date, Location, List of Presentations and "Pay here", with nice graphics of beautiful people speaking  ;D

Any other ideas?

But to the general public, I want to focus on the presentations (the content). What you would like to see? What topics do you think are interesting for OS/2-ArcaOS Today?
