Setup & Installation / Re: ArcaOS: Impossible to install!

Can you try to use the ACPI parameter /VW in the installer setup?
For me, it did the trick.

In /cc-31 open a command shell (use cmd.exe, not 4os2, and pay attention that the environment setting COMSPEC is set to C:\os2\ cmd.exe).
What was the problem with 4os2 again? I saw some hints in this thread, but no explanations why one should only use CMD for dev.

The Bind implementation compiles (I couldn't test linking yet, since I'm running into other problems.
For that I installed the bind-devel package via yum and refenced their files.

Thanks again, Paul.

Ok, the implementation has a lot depencies.
Then I have to wait until it gets into libcx.

Programming / Where is getaddrinfo?
« on: June 17, 2017, 11:11:09 am »
Hi.

Does some know whether we have a implementation of getaddrinfo?
It seems to me that it should belong to the C standard library, but I can't find any declaration in /usr/include.

Programming / Re: Can't push to Github.

Yes, I totally know that. The problem was not the origin remote, that pointed to my repo. I also have a upstream remote pointing to the CC65 original repo.
I wanted to merge upstream to my repo, but it seems I checkout out upstream instead. The when I wanted to push it, it was correctly push upstream.

Ok, Git is weird. It was indeed the wrong URL, but other than one would think.
I tried to push upstream, i.e. the CC65 repo, not my forked one.
That was indeed forbidden.
So case closed. The leson always watch the checkout branch.

Sorry, sorry. That was a rush job at work yesterday morning.  ::)
I fixed the download links, so you can check the new ports.

The clone from the repo went well, so I would guess that the URL is correct.
I will look at cert issue.

Under https://www.joschs-robotics.de/dosbox, I uploaded an installer package of Atari++, as well as a zipped distribution of CC65 fresh from the press aka just fetched from Github.

Programming / Can't push to Github.
« on: June 13, 2017, 11:32:16 pm »
After installing ArcaOS, I installed Git via RPM.
Now I want to push to Github. git asks my username and password, which entered multiple times.
But it tells me that it can't access the HTTPS address and that the server returns 403 (Forbidden).
What do I have to configure, to make that work?

I just updated the packages (same place, same name) with all the language files, I could find on the DOSBOX site.
Some are not up to date, but I included them anyway for completeness' sake.
Should somebody find some mistakes, please tell me.

PS: Next up is the port of Atari++, a Atari 8bit emulator.
