OK, Dave.

The output is:
[C:\]mode com1
baud     = 9600                   parity   = NONE
databits = 8                      stopbits = 1
TO       = OFF                    XON      = OFF
IDSR     = OFF                    ODSR     = OFF
OCTS     = OFF                    DTR      = ON
RTS      = ON                     BUFFER   = N/A

[C:\]mode com2
baud     = 9600                   parity   = NONE
databits = 8                      stopbits = 1
TO       = OFF                    XON      = OFF
IDSR     = OFF                    ODSR     = OFF
OCTS     = OFF                    DTR      = ON
RTS      = ON                     BUFFER   = N/A

[C:\]mode com3
SYS0021: The drive is not ready.

This is consistent w/ the <COM.SYS> parameters.  Strange that PMFax reports COM3 UNLESS it is accessing the <USBCOM.SYS> setting rather than the <COM.SYS> setting.

Hello Bernald,

Renaming dll is not a very good idea.
I did a quick QT5 port, had to disable OpenCV as i dont have it, this also means i had also disable Tiff and Raw.

I only started it and load a jpg, this worked.

With kind regards, TeLLie

Try mode com1, mode com2 etc to see which com ports are installed. Seems I remember someone having problems as the com port was a higher then expected number.

I'm pretty sure my problem is in the PMFax Pro Settings.  I'll probably have to search through Keller's various user guide PDFs to see if I can figure out what parameters are wrong.

I have both the Serial Cable and the USB cable attached.  I also have
     DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\COM.SYS (1,3f8,4) (2,2f8,3)
     DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\USBCOM.SYS /M:3
in <config.sys>.  The OS is ArcaOS 5.0.8.
The Ports displayed under PMFAx Pro's settings are:  FMD1; COM1; COM2; and COM3.

The only non-Internet communications program I have on this computer is HyperHost, and it seems it recognizes the modem - though I don't know how to externally connect to test it.

As far as the Add program, I don't think this is an issue.  Though I copied the PMFax Pro directory from an installation on another computer, IIRC it was just an upgrade from a license I had from Keller for an earlier version.  It opens fine and allows updating of <fx.ini>.  It's just that I can' send faxes or receive voice calls w/ it - something that was no problem when I was able to use an ISA card.

Like I said, I'll just have to drill down into the guide files, though I did just buy an unopened 3COM US ROBOTICS Model 5605 56K Voice Faxmodem Pro V.90 X 2 to see if this works better.  (It's still an old model but newer than my Model No. 0525, and it seems Model 5605 is reported to work well under OS/2.)

I now do a
Code: [Select]
WinGetWindowRect(hwndClient, &rect); and it works.

I suppose it should be:

 rect.xLeft = 0;
 rect.yTop = r.Height;
 rect.xRight = r.Width;
 rect.yBottom = 0;

because I assume that the coordinate system to be used is still the OS/2 PM coordinate system [bottom left is (0,0)], correct ?

By the way:
setupBlitter.lDstPosX          = 0;
setupBlitter.lDstPosY          = 0;

You would only ever set these to anything else if you blitted into a memory buffer (also allocated via DiveAllocImageBuffer) instead of to the screen. But maybe DIVE ignores this anyway if you specify DIVE_BUFFER_SCREEN as the destination blit buffer in "DiveBlitImage".

Hello,
I have found libraw-os2-r0_15_04.zip, and in this archive I found libraw.dll. I renamed this dll to raw.dll and copied it in the nomacs directory. Now nomacs 2.4.6 is running but produces errors and warnings:

Error: XMP Toolkit error 203: Duplicate property or field node
Warning: Failed to decode XMP metadata.

@Tellie: a qt5 port would be great!

Thx, bernhard

Update: I got it working by setting up the RECTL in SETUP_BLITTER::pVisDstRects correctly.
Now, a picture is shown.

Multimedia / Re: mplayer - just stopped working...sort of...

Hi KO

Sorry for slow response, had to go away for a few days. While I was away I realised what the problem with kva:snap option is: This system is not using the SNAP driver.

It seems smplayer must have the capability to switch video output mode if the selected mode fails.

I attach 2 log files for your perusal
smplayer.log  - playback works despite kva:snap being selected video output, auto switches to VMAN
66295c21-003c_01-MPLAYER-exceptq.txt - the trap file generated whenever smplayer/mplayer is closed

Regards

Pete

I must have it some where on some older HD.
I will look when i have time to see if i still got it.
Otherwise i will try to port it to QT5 with latest dll's.

Kind regards, Tellie
