Title: Is REXX in all its versions still heavily used.
Post by: David Graser on January 09, 2018, 08:09:12 am
I found this web page mentioning Object Rexx, NetRexx, and others.  Their various downloads, are they platform specific?  I never hear them mentioned like they were in years past.

Sergey didn't include the the section with Rexx in it.

It is still 30 out of 50 but as with all these tracking sites there is always a fudge factor since their tracking methods are obscure and their sample base may not be truly representative.

Hi David

Yes, the rexx downloads are platform specific.

I think the only rexx mentioned on rexxla that is available for OS/2 is Regina, available for download from hobbes - http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/h-search.php?key=regina&pushbutton=Search

Regards

Pete

Hi David

Yes, the rexx downloads are platform specific.

I think the only rexx mentioned on rexxla that is available for OS/2 is Regina, available for download from hobbes - http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/h-search.php?key=regina&pushbutton=Search

There is a much newer version of Regina available for OS/2 than is on Hobbes:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/regina-rexx/files/regina-rexx/3.9.1/

See also the Regina homepage:
https://regina-rexx.sourceforge.io/

NetRexx also works on OS/2
