I just successfully installed Arca OS 5.1 on this motherboard with EFI enabled. It seems to install a little slower in this mode but it runs just as well when installed as my CSM computer. Now we have another alternative.

I have tried this driver on bot real steel and a virtual machine. I recommend caution with the virtual machines it makes it real flaky for me.

Networking / [SOLVED] Networking not working In Virtual Box

For some reason in my virtual machine (new) Networking does not work. the system set it up for an Intel network card while the card is a Realtek.

I built a new new computer in installed Arrca OS 5.08 from the ground up. I have lost my copy of the latest version of Apache Openn Office I have contacted Bitwise twice about getting another copy sent to me but they have so far ignored me. If you have a business and run it properly you will allocate time and resources for support and issues. I have given them money with every new realease. This is not good business. I know the market is both small and slow, but you don't help it by being negligent.

If yo are looking for a AM4 mother board that works with Arca OS 5.08. Take a look at a ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi).
 ATX Motherboard. Onboard network card works audio works with the latest Uniaud drop from Paul.This of course is not set up for a UEFI. but I bet it would work.

I do have to say that I am very impressed with Arca Noae's Arca OS 5.08. A successful clean install on a Asus X570 Mother board.  was one thing. but playing with the OS and checking out things are they are in the new format has made me decide to rebuild rather than take a backup and upgrade, Great Job Arca Noae. I can hardly wait to see how 5.1 runs.

Well to be honest testing the latest version of Falkon 32 bit in Windows now works well. better than Otter and it is almost a year old. I have tried Otter and it will not run YouTube videos with audio. I am afraid I was wrong about its potential. But the Arca is a different and older beast isn't it?

Just trying out a B450 with a AMD 2700 and no go. It wont even boot the intstal stick. So any suggestion of hardware to get and any suggestions that could get this puppy working, but I have my doubts on that. Thank you in advance.

Display-port and HDMI for video. Anyone ever get these working or is anyone working on it. More of the newer mother boards only support these. gone are DVI and VGA ports.

Both my arca OS 5.04 systems have lost the ability to play sound. One is USB sound card and the other is  a staput into the config ndard sound card on a mother board. Both were working. I remeber there was a switch to  put into the config can anyone give the switch?
