Title: OS/4 & PmDDk.sys
Post by: OS4User on December 19, 2017, 04:46:34 pm
PmDDk.sys  is added to distribution packet  starting from svn5073.

PmDDk.sys is a KEE optimized version of original PmDD.sys and it can work on any kernel with KEE (Aurora)

It works fine on two my machines (one with eCS 2.2 and Panorama video driver, another with MCP2 and SNAP video driver). Tested with both the latest OS/4 kernel and 14.200 kernel from Arca. I see no problems with it so far.

Hi

I found it interesting. Is there any more documentation about PMDD.SYS ? I would like to improve the information of this driver on the EDM/2 wiki.
Is this an original development (PMDDK.SYS) ? Or was it from another source like IBM DDK ?

Regards

Works fine on os/2 warp 4.52 with kernel 14.106 w4 and fixpak 6 running under virtual box 5.40. No hang ups or hiccups yet.

Some short description is provided in the distribution packet.

It is not from IBM DDK.  PmDDk.sys  is written on C32 (mainly) and uses KEE unlike the original pmdd.sys
