A little bit short on information. Sounds to me that parts can't be found. So go through your config.sys on path statements and see if that matches where the programs really are.

Maybe the problem is due to reinstall video drivers.

Hi Phil

What graphics card and driver is involved? - I seem to have seen a few posts over the past couple of years complaining that ATI cards were having problems with win16 windows. Might be worth "Googling" for answers.

Regards

Pete

You might try:
DEVICE=D:\OS2\MDOS\VSVGA.SYS /int10textgrfxsafe
that parameter helps some issues with later video drivers.

Funny you should mention that, it's happening to me out of the blu with my accounting package, the hardware has not changed on that PC.

I've also noted that when I changed the memory settings for the Win16 session, it doesn't save them either but simply puts them back to the system defaults, so it might not be the same problem as yours. Next time I'm in front of that PC I'll try Andy's hint, I might have to dig deeper re the session/property settings not being saved I suspect.
