Post by: TeLLie on July 04, 2021, 11:49:30 am
Hi all,
I plan to buy me a Acer Aspire 5 A515-44-R2FS (NX.HW1EH.002), 15.6" laptop

Will this run on Arcanoae?
And have any experience with a Ryzen

Thankz in advance ...

Very fast!  I've got a Ryzen and it's very fast.  No problems with CPU, just getting right speed on peripherals, Sound, etc.
Current ARCA very good though for install.

As Matt says - very fast.  I have several Ryzen first gen based units, a couple of second gen based units and one third gen based unit. all working well, yes, they are desktop units I assembled.

One thing you should be aware of is the drive.  If it is a standard hard drive there should be no problems, if it is an MVME M2 and you want to boot from it you will need set that in the uefi bios.
