For unknown reason, Hobbes tends to break FTP connection leaving zero length files.

Hope they will fix that.

Let's call it "Click and Select".

Then, if "Shift" is pressed, — Copy (into Clipboard) and Unselect.

Yes, it works!

Would you like to add some mouse actions, for example, "Select, Copy and Unselect" when "Shift" is pressed?

None of the required hardware is currently in production, so it would mean paying manufacturers
No, no, no, it's better to achieve the same goal via FPGA, such as Altera.
Verilog and VHDL can describe any hardware.

I'm wondering (fantasizing) if it is plausable to design an SBC or FPGA specifically to run OS/2 (and other "legacy" systems).

We have a layer called PSD, "platform specific driver", it works directly with the hardware.
So right now, an on-board FPGA is not required.

The only useful command I still remember is "print device driver report":
  copy ibms506$ con:
:)

Yes, it is true.

Article Discussions / Re: Greatest keyboard of all time?

It was great but i'm afraid I now need to use a split key keyboard to not get pain in my hands.

Here in Russia, we have a probiotic bacterias MPK-12 which fights pathogens of arthritis and some forms of cancer, known as Trichomonas (i.e. their form which lives in human blood).
MPK-12 is a breed similar to Milky Streptococcus which is quite good too. A local company, "Kvadro-Biotech" invented a method to grow them.

I can see what IP address that you and others are posting from so that gives me something to use in checking if I can get access to the list.

Exporting IP address lists from forums like OS/2 world and OS2.org seems to be a good idea.

These who active in the forums could receive full access to Hobbes...

If you are partial to the older Model F you might be able to pick up a new modern one from https://www.modelfkeyboards.com

The URL has been sent to https://curlie.org/en/Computers/Hardware/Peripherals/Keyboards/

Thanks a lot!

Yes, «hidden dependencies» are exists. Write caches in HPFS386 will work only with IBM LAN Server device drivers :(

It is a "clean-leaf" implementation of the same kernel.

The developers are available at IRC channel.
