Hi Neil,

To get running you need the new version of libc + libcdevel from the Netlabs experimental repo. I unzipped the firefox zip  and copied it to the usr + subfolders same structure as the zipped firefox file. Then made a copy of firefox.exe on my desktop.

I am pretty sure the neded files wil be moved to Netlabs release repo pretty soon.

Here it runs just fine on ArcaOS.

Hi,

I have also tried the Firefox version 45.9 from ArcaNoa exp repo and it seems stable, with googlemaps it does not crash with some limited test as with Firefox 45.5. Hope they soon put in the release repo. Seems also quite responsive at least for me.

Hi,

Here it works no issues with Firefox 38.8 and Seamonkey 2.35.

If I use the Firefox 45.5 and Seamonkey 2.49 it crashes and is unstable also tried in safemode.

For me Firefox 38.8 and Seamonkey 2.35 provided with ArcaOS is quite stable.

Rene

Hi Howard,

One thing does your Lan card load during bootup , I have set in my config.sys the /V after my driver like this "c:\imbcom\macs\mmre.os2 /V "

Then during bootup it will show you if driver gets loaded or not.

Have you tried the pci.exe  tool that tells you what HW that you have. And check the id for the REALTEK Lan driver.

PCI tool is placed in C:\sys\install\DETECT\pci.exe

the MMRE driver supports the following ID according to the https://www.arcanoae.com/wiki/multimac/:

1186:4300, 1186:4302
10EC:8139, 10EC:8136, 10EC:8168, 10EC:8169, 10EC:8167
1259:C107, 1737:1032, 16EC:0116

If the ID match and still can get it to work raise a ticket a Arcanae

Hi Howard,

I am using the Realtek mmr driver and have no issues with my Realtek device id 10EC , 8136h. under ArcaOS.

Has your netcard been enabled and set for receiving DHCP ? Check that in TCP/IP configuration under network - tcp/ip in system setup.

Hi ,

Have you tried to manually to start disc checker and see if it detect any issues ?

Use the System Management from install media and use the tools from there or as David suggested use DFSEE ,

You need to get rid of the error before you can make any changes  to the disc.
