Title: FOSDEM 2017 - 4 & 5 February 2017 - Brussels, Belgium.

"FOSDEM is a free event for software developers to meet, share ideas and collaborate."
URL: https://fosdem.org/2017/
Days:  4 & 5 February 2017
Location: ULB Solbosch Campus, Brussels, Belgium, Europe, Earth.

Hi.

I was wondering that it can be interesting for OS/2 Europe users to go to this event and try to grow some ties with the local open source movement.
OS/2 is not open source, but we use a lot of open source software over it. It can be good to describe OS/2 situation and share ideas with other software developers outside of the OS/2 community.

So, this is only and heads up for people near by!!

Regards

Hi

Just dreaming in technicolor, if someone can assist, and if there free slots, someone and give a "Lightning Talk (https://fosdem.org/2017/schedule/track/lightning_talks/)" (15 minutes) about what libraries and tools we have on OS/2 so you can have open source software to run OS/2. Just a quick talk saying we have Libc, Qt, SDL, etc, etc... (http://www.edm2.com/index.php/The_OS/2_API_Project#OS.2F2_Ported_APIs)
