Hi Silvan,

According to your lsusb output, the camera in your T510 appears to be equal to the one in the X201T.
So try the yet untested http://home.hccnet.nl/w.m.brul/usbvideo/x201wv0.zip and see if it works for you.

Regards, Wim.
Wim,

i just tried it. Weblook starts and the camera light goes on. Webview also starts but i only see a black screen.
I started both apps on the T510 w/o parameters.

regards
Silvan

Hi Silvan,

Thanks for the offer. Provide me with the output of lsusb from Paul Smedley for that camera.

Wim,

do you have an idea why /D:17EF:480F:2345 /N:$CHICON$ could not work?
I'd love to test more.

with x200tc2 i see a black screen and the led at the camera goes on. with all other exe i get a "Obtain thread error"

Also the netlabs repositories should be mentioned, as they are under active development as well. And some of the ports in github are very old and newer on netlabs.

you need to enable the front speakers probably. please play with unimix, as noted in ticket 195

172
please post your unimix -list. usually some switches are wrong and needs to be adjusted

173
did you ever send a note about that to the mplayer porter? He did also the libkva and libkai

174
UNIAUD doesn't work for me though I only have UNIAUD on 3 of 4 machines.

So I have to manually specify /DART to get sound that doesn't stutter or cause 100% CPU usage (eCS v2.2 installations).
/VMAN seem to be the best option for me regaring video for most machines, though one have a Matrox G400 graphics card.
as it's just a search order, it falls back to the next, if the former is not found.

175
btw you don't have to specify any options to vo=kva or ao=kai, as those libs automaticaly search your system and uses the best combination.

vo search order is: WO, SNAP, DIVE
ao search order is: UNIAUD, DART

Reviving an old thread, I tried qpdfview 0.4.3 and at first I only got an error message "could not load pdf plugin", but then I deleted %home%\.config\Trolltech.ini and pdf loaded fine.
Thats a known problem and fixed for the next Qt release. This happened when not all requirements are there, when you try to open a pdf the first time.
Now I'm seeing the whole pdf on the screen, but when I print, I get only the first page. I tried both an eCups and a non-eCups printer, and both print only the first page.
Hmm printing to a non-eCups printer? You need cups always and you need the very latest cups, as earlier ones had problems with printing pdf.

if you don't want to buy a upgrade from warp4 to ecs you need to compare all drivers from the live cd to the on's you use with warp4. as you said that the live cd works.

according to http://svn.netlabs.org/xata/changeset/92 you need danis 1.8.9 or better to have ahci and danis working together.

i really wonder about your post. Why don't you just organise one? So you can show everyone, that you know how to do such an event proper.

If you can tell me what is needed to setup a build environment I have a spare computer I can dedicate to the task.  It should give me something to do in the long evenings and, hopefully, keep my mind in trim - they say old dogs can't learn new tricks but this one is going to try.
first you need a working rpm env. with that set up see: http://svn.netlabs.org/rpm/wiki/RpmHowToDevelopers for seting up the basic build env. to have qt4-devel you need also "yum install qt4-devel-kit".
this gives you a good starting point and as long as qt projects use .pro files qmake produces you the makefiles. also read the qt4 readme about shadow building.

have fun
Silvan
