Hello

I have another request if possible. I want to ask Lothar Söns to update the icon of his "LSZipWizard".
Can you please improve the icon in both .ico and .png format to see if he wants to ship it with his software? I'm attaching the .ico.

Hello Movq, and welcome to the forum.

Just in case, here I have some general information about Win95Key: https://www.os2world.com/wiki/index.php?title=Win95Key

But I have no idea how to swap the keys "a" and "b" with that software.

Hello

OLD hardware here (working very well with OS/2 CP2 however), so are you still looking for those as well, or focusing more on the mainstream (or at max -5 yrs. from today) timeframe?

Just let me know what you have Dariusz. Sure we like new hardware with ArcaOS, but there are things that are old and interesting with the classic OS/2.

QuaTech 8 port PCI serial port adapter.

About the "QuaTech 8 port PCI serial port adapter" I had updated your report with your latest remarks.

About the "StarTech.com PCI Express to PCI Adapter Card"
I also have this report, that I also have updated with your remarks:

Games / Re: RetroArch Port

Hello Mentore

I don't know if you can port some of the basic cores for NES and SNES that are very common and don't require a console BIOS to be downloaded by the user.

Hello

Mentore ported RetroArch (1.19.1) and I just noticed today, which is awesome.

I installed "yum install SDL2 SDL2_net" it runs but I don't know if the cores (emulators) need also to be ported, or it will be download the cores from a site.

I tried to download the Core list from the app, but it is not downloading. Remains in 0%.

Anyone here with more experience with RetroArch?

Setup & Installation / Re: No mouse/keyboard after BIOS update
« on: November 11, 2024, 10:44:40 pm »
Hello Per.

Just to know a little bit more I was checking a Simulator of your BIOS

I guess is this one (text mode only).

What is the two things? "XHCI Hand-off" and "above 4G decoding" the things that did the trick? or just one of those?

I have this hardware report on the wiki:
It says "enable "CSM" and disable "Above 4G Decoding"".
I don't remember who reported that on 2020, was it you?

Did the BIOS updated enabled back the "Above 4G Decoding"?

Hello Neil

As a novelty, I always wanted to create a thing called OS/2 Warp 4.1.

Please check this page and let me know what I'm missing according to your vision creating the VM.

Hello Doug

Sorry to drift away from the subject, but your setup picture looks great. I'm obsessed with your "IBM 6094-010 Dials" and your "IBM Lighted Program Function Keyboard". I don't know if they work on OS/2 or what would I do with those, but they look so damn cool !!!!.

Hello Jochen

Sorry I can not answer your question I only use Uniaud here. I experience your same issue with the sound. This version render the image better than the last one I use. In the VM I was able to wakl very slowly, but on the Think pad T14s, I don't know why it does not get the WASD and Space to move. But I can click to break the squares and hear the sound.

Thanks Paul

Here it goes: https://www.os2world.com/wiki/index.php?title=Lenovo_Thinkpad_X13_Carbon_1st_Gen_-_20T3
I think that the Ethernet will work once you get the "ThinkPad Ethernet Extension Adapter Gen 2" (Part Number: 4X90Q84427). It is the same adapter on my T14s laptop and I'm using that adapter.

Let me know any remarks about the installation that you may want to share.

Thanks Wim, I noticed there is a serial number on the "Panorama" report, I will also remove those numbers every time I see one of those.

1) highlight the text you want and while still LMB pressing down click on the RMB => tada...the text is copied

Now to PASTE this, you simply:

1) push down on the RMB, and click on the LMB

easy!!!

WOW !!! this is so hard with a trackpoint, but works great for a regular mouse !!!
Thanks for sharing.
