How can I remove the file and print client on ecomstation 2.2?

2Micky: Why are you need to remove it? To install Samba? If so, it is sufficient to comment nbtcp.exe out in config.sys. It conflicts with Samba daemons (listens the same ports).

The program told me to remove it before I can install Lan Server.

RUN MPTS and remove the protocols from the network card, NETBIOS and NETBIOS over TCP/IP.
Does that work ?

No, did not work. Error message:

The file and print client must be uninstalled before Lan Server can be installed.

This works:

\IBMLAN\INSTALL\LANINST 20
OK
Tailored
Remove LAN Services from this workstation
OK
No, to keep MPTS
Yes
Yes

Only remove the peer. If all is ready shutdown and reboot.

Start servinst. Don't forget to put in the Warp Server for ebusiness V 4.52.
Fill out the fields in servinst.
Install
The installation is completed. Please shut down and reboot the system.
