Title: winevdm - Running 16 bit Windows
Post by: Martin Iturbide on March 05, 2020, 08:05:19 pm
Hi

As an off-topic thing,  today I found this article about "Running 16 bit Windows applications on 64 bit Windows (https://www.osnews.com/story/131469/running-16-bit-windows-applications-on-64-bit-windows/)" (By the way it says "OS/2 is always cool") on OSNews about winevdm (https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/releases). It is an open source mix between "MAME’s i386 emulation and the 16 bit part of wine."

Even that we have the Win16 thing covered with OS/2, it is kind of interesting to see how to produce similar results with different techniques.
