Thanks Dave. I was able to download the source. And it comes with very extensive helpful docs. I wish there was a changelog or some history revision. But, I'm glad for guides.

Hi Dave,
The watcom on os2site. Is there a difference from the one on os2site. Over this one?
This is the upstream one. Not the fork you mention

Hey Martin,

C/C++ and some 32bit asm. I want to port some posix software. Including my soundcard(Maudio 2496 snd_envy24). First time user to anything related to os/2. Just recently purchase a license after obtaining some compatible hardware to run snap compatible gpu. "Very" excited about the efi supported. Thanks for the examples. Where is os2.h located?

I want to get familiar with file hierarchy and porting software. So is there a recommended manual or docs online. To get started with system familiarization? Along with system libraries\API's?

I was researching my options to move forward. And found a comfortably priced  ATI Radeon X800 XL 256MB PCI-E That supports snap. It comes with a dvi and vga. Will i be able to use a hdmi to dvi with no problems? I use a monitor with only hdmi connections. A 40 inch 4k monitor.

Okay! What about more modern radeon gpu's? Even though I have a agp x1200. I have for my s20 a 6450 radeon. And a couple of 7000 series radeons. Would that suffice? The intel graphics sound nice. I have a couple of intel GMA boards laying around  8)

Hardware / Question about a sound card and GPU

I have a Thinkstation S20. That I want to use with ArcaOS. I will be buying a Sound Blaster Live! sound card and a Envy24 Maudio 2496 card. Currently the GPU is powered by a nvidia gts 250. I'm wondering if all of this hardware shouldn't be a problem. I know for sure the on board audio work. As i saw a similar spec hardware. That had onboard audio working. In the hardware tested section. I also have a spare dell 4800 with ide. For a drop in placement. Looking to run Arca on this beefy xeon.
