Tellie,

You probably need to use 'Highmem' to get the DLL's to load into high memory... from a command prompt like this:

highmem -c qt6weben.dll

 Highmem is available from ANPM.

Regards,

Thankz David,

Totaly forgotten this :)

Thanks Paul... I get a 404 'not found' on that link, but figured out it needs the'tmp' directory added so https://smedley.id.au/tmp/qt6weben-systemicu-20241125.zip does work. I'll give it a try later today...

LATER: Tried it and it works fine, but I don't see any difference - still get odd characters in the title bar every once in awhile I don't get with the QT5 version. Paul's website shows it ( https://os2ports.smedley.id.au )- there is a question mark '?' in the QT5 dooble tiitle bar the QT6 version shows 3 strange characters there...

Regards,

Hi Paul,
When i copy those files to my hd and try to run dooble, i get a not enough mem, when i use the old files all works...

Any idea...

Hi Martin,

Oeps you're correct i used the wrong one to link with it.

This dll is compiled with QT5, so please use this one if you dont have Qt6....

With kind regards, Tellie

Hello Bernald,

Renaming dll is not a very good idea.
I did a quick QT5 port, had to disable OpenCV as i dont have it, this also means i had also disable Tiff and Raw.

I only started it and load a jpg, this worked.

With kind regards, TeLLie

Hello Bernard,

I must have it some where on some older HD.
I will look when i have time to see if i still got it.
Otherwise i will try to port it to QT5 with latest dll's.

Kind regards, Tellie

Hi Tellie, how did you get cmake to find L:\qt6-2.x\lib\cmake\Qt6 for the IMPORTED_IMPLIB's for the various QT6 DLL's?

Hi Dave,
I use a .sh file for building cmake progs.
When using qt6 i have to reboot and use a qt6 config.sys with a qt6 bindir and libdir and includedir set
This worked for me the best.
I might sounds a bit cumbersome, but like i say works for me :)

BTW: I also convert the qt6 .a to .lib
Kind regards, Tellie

Hi all,

I compiled 4.05 with qt6 and  print support.
I have no printer so i could not test it, i print to a pdf and that worked.

Maybe some braveheart could test it.

Kind regards, Tellie
