Anyone familiar with django?
https://www.djangoproject.com/
Is it available for OS/2?
-
Hi
I haven't hear anything about it on the OS/2 news that I post here.
It seems that this frameworks run on Python 3 and Python 2.7. According to some news a Python 2.7.2 port is available for OS/2.
But I can not know what else does this framework requires.
Django looks very nice to create database-driven websites, I was just reading about it on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Django_%28web_framework%29). Maybe the best way to get out of the doubt is for someone with some experience with python to try it out on OS/2.

Looks like it should work as we have all prerequisites.

2.7.2??? Everyone having installed yum/rpm has 2.7.6. And the ones not having yum/rpm can of course install python from the zip file.

It does run on OS/2, but what exactly are you trying to archive?
