Hello,

Filestar/2 (available on hobbesarchive) comes with a built-in FTP function.

Here the Info from the help-file:

Use the Drives->FTP Attach menu item to attach an URL to a drive letter. This menu option activates the FTP Attach dialog which is used to make the connection and attach the drive. It will only appear in the menu when the system is configured to load the FTP.IFS by a config.sys entry.

LAN works quite well via USB LAN Adapter with Moschip Chipset and USB A/ USB C Adapter.

what device is this in detail? From the picture one can see that the vendor is delock.

Is there an update on 5.1 release available? I haven't seen anything since April announcement (https://www.arcanoae.com/i-want-arcaos-5-1/) which stated 5.1 being ready but hold back due to distribution issues - have they been solved?

sueddeutsche.de works for me too. Loads fast and popup (login or continue with advertisements) appears when looking into an article.

On os2.org someone reported a similiar issue. Deleting .dooble folder solved this issue and download was possible.

Hello,

seems to work pretty good. Youtube plays smoothly for me, including sound. Sometimes websites stay white (going through google works then) and sometimes the programm doesn't close properly and i have to kill dooble.exe.

I notice "Open File" does not work, i tried with jpg and png files. Also in Textfields (like this one) the Del does not work. I can only delete using backspace. In the URL field Del works.

It might depend on the controller. I used to have an Lenovo Thinkpad x121e. I needed to switch the SATA Controller to compatible mode as in ahci mode no drive was found using ArcaOS 5.04 (i do not have this Laptop anymore so i couldn't test with more recent versions.)

Hi,

SCSI Drivers can be found here https://www.os2site.com/sw/drivers/scsi/index.html. I also did some research for Comapc Prosignia and SCSI. It came up with this: https://www.ebay.de/itm/323825801053. So maybe you have a Symbios Chip.

Hello,

years ago i used https://clonezilla.org/ to copy/clone entire HDD with multiple OS installations (OS2, Win, Linux) or partitions to a new (bigger) HDD. I remember it being very easy and fast.

Now I managed to install all the YUM/Package manager stuff after reading the thread hints here.

Running simplebrowser.exe from the command line has no effect, nothing happens, the command program appears half a second later.

Running "sh run.sh" crashes the whole computer, warm starting is no more possible.

I have got ArcaOS 5.0.2.

Did you check on Q1 and Q2 in the FAQ area of the readme.txt?
