**About me**

I am a postdoctoral research fellow on Wushi Goldring's team in the Department of Mathematics at Stockholm University. My current research involves moonshine and related aspects of number theory.

I obtained my Ph.D. in 2021 from the Department of Mathematics at Emory University under the supervision of John Duncan.

The focus of my current research is on modular forms, elliptic curves, and moonshine. I am more broadly interested in number theory, algebra, geometry, and mathematical physics.

I have an undergraduate degree in Physics (with a minor in Mathematics) from Lahore University of Management Sciences, in Lahore, Pakistan.

I enjoy teaching and spend a lot of time thinking about effective and inclusive teaching practices. I earned two teaching fellowships during my time in graduate school. You can find details about the fellowships here.

Since Spring 2021, I have been co-organizing a virtual seminar titled "What is... a seminar?" with Alexander Clifton. Please see the seminar website for more information, and sign up to give a talk here.

My non-mathematical hobbies include photography and cooking.
