Hi, Paul.

Does http://smedley.id.au/tmp/uniaud32-linux-3.10.108-20200807b.zip give sound for people? The sound is distorted on my X250, but I think that's the problem MikeK reported a few months back with earlier builds.

Versions
uniaud32-linux-3.10.108-20200807b.zip
uniaud32-linux-3.10.108-20200807c.zip
uniaud32-linux-3.10.108-20200807d.zip
they work just as well as
uniaud32-linux-3.5.zip

  driver: HDA-Intel
longname: HDA ATI SB at 0xfe6f8000 irq 19
  mixer: Realtek ALC892

Hi, Paul.

On my desktop computer with the updated driver, the sound is gone. In archive log files.

I went back to the basics with PMPDF to see why I was not able to print.
It seems that my issue was that I was pointing to the wrong path, since PMPDF looks for the gsos2.exe on \bin\gsos2.exe.

Now it seems to work with ghostscript 9.18-5 installed from ANPM. I just wrote it down here to don't forget about it next year.

Hi!

I installed according to the wiki link. When I try to send to the print in Seamonkey I get an error from Xcenter
"Jobs printed directly - spooler disabled"

From other applications, printing is going fine.

What could be the mistake?

I see this documentation could apply to your case (it is linked on eCSoft/2 page)

"How to use Internet media streams - Sjoerd Visser"

http://wse2007.warpevents.eu/uploads/tx_wseevents/wse2007_int03_mplayer_os2_mcp.pdf

Thanks for the link, but that's not what I'm looking for.
This article suggests playing streaming video in the browser.

I run it like this:
Mplayer -playlist iptv_channels.m3u

And in it rows of the form
#EXTINF:-1,Viasat History HD
http://domain/../ViasatHistoryHD.m3u8

The browser will offer to save this link and will not play anything.

Mplayer for Windows plays fine of this type the playlists.

Mplayer has a shell in the form of SMPlayer.
This bundle plays local video files normally.
I decided to start streaming video taken from the playlist to IPTV.

I did:
1. Updated QTNet4.dll to make it possible to run HTTPS sources. ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/qtapps/QtNet4_Fix_SSL.zip
2. Added -playlist option. See the MPlayer FAQ.
3. Increased the cache to 8192.

The stream plays for about 5 seconds, then pauses, then get buffering. And so 4 times. This ends the playback.

Are there any examples of SMPlayer working normally?

SMPlayer 17.1.0
Mplayer SVN r37540
eCS 2.1
kernel OS/4
Video - Panorama
Audio- Uniad

I confirm that access is closed from the Russian address. We have to select a proxy server.

Strange your high CPU usage. Try going to about:config and resetting the string in 'browser.download.lastdir'
I'll attach h264ify_modified, seems to be MIT licensed.
Yes, it helped me. Thanks. I also had to give up plugin DownThemAll!, since it also starts loading the CPU.

Thanks, seems I forgot to commit changes previously, fixed locally.

Not sure who I could ask, Mozilla refuses to have anything to do with such old versions. I'll revisit it but the source is quite complex.

After a few days of using SM 2.42.9, it turned out that loading any file this results in an unreasonable CPU load. There is no such effect in SM 2.35.
This is one of the limitations of using version 2.42.9.

Dave, where can I download plugin H264ify for FF 45.9?

Once again all we have are workarounds. Use the volume control on your speakers or install PMUnimix to make controlling the volume easier. https://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/apps/mmedia/util/mixers/PMUniMix-bin-0_82.zip

With PMUnimix, it got better. Thanks.

In README.OS2 is specified the list of RPM packages required by Firefox is contained in a file named RPM_REQUIREMENTS. There is no such file in the archive. In some of the forum topics, I found it.

And about the full-screen video, you can not ask or someone works?  ;)

Known issue that I wish knew the actual problem. Go to about:addons, disable Chatzilla and restart. CPU usage should be down.

Yes, it worked. But I use Chatzilla. Is there any hope that it will work normally?

This one I'm not sure of. What Locale are you using? Does it happen in safe mode? What about if you go to Edit--> Preferences-->Browser--Downloads and try not using the download manager or change it to not asking where to save files. Could also clear the download history.
Also are you uploading from the root of a drive? If so, try using a subdirectory.

Locale - English. Advice "not asking where to save files" solved this problem. %TMP% is located on a disk with enough space.

Now this question. When viewing Youtube videos, Seamonkey does not adjust the sound. Only via Uniaud mixer. And when you load a new video, the volume returns to the maximum value.
What to do?

As I understand it, the screenshots from the previous post were made with the native kernel, and the last with the OS/4 kernel?
Please, send me resmgr.exe output witn IBM kernel to understand why you have red "?" instead icons.
Both are made with OS/4 core. For the latter,  was replaced oemhlp.bpd. In the mail indicated. I'll do it with IBM later.

Funny it didn't start in safe mode. Move H:\PROGRAMS\MOZ_PLUG\npj2_j32.dll out of the way along with the other Java plugin files or h:\programs\moz_plug or edit config.sys and remove the SET MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH setting, reboot and retest please.
Hi, Dave.
I moved Java plugin files - Seamonkey 2.42.9 starts successfully, sites open. What should I do with Java plugin in the future?
But.
1. There is a sawtooth load on the processor, reaching up to 100%, even the second core is connected. This is on the about: blank page. In this case, SM 2. 42b8 does not load the processor.
2. When I try to upload a file, I get a trap. The attached files are just for the latter case.

Many thanks. Now we need to understand why the types of devices with red question icons have not been detected.
Please download utility:
ftp://ftp.os2.snc.ru/pub/HwExplorer/resmgr.exe
run it:
resmgr.exe > resmgr.txt
and send me resmgr.txt by e-mail (see address in readme.txt).
Made and sent. There is still Merlin's PCI Hardware Sniffer report, but Pcidevs.txt from 16.05.2013. I didn't find anything newer.
Screenshot from the updated program.
