Title: [SOLVED] Issue with lSwitcher
Post by: Martin Iturbide on February 04, 2021, 06:10:33 pm
Hi

I'm experiencing an issue with lSwitcher. I just installed in on ArcaOS 5.0.6 VM.

I get this attached error.

Any ideas?

Regards

Hi

I just uninstalled lswitcher, rebooted and reinstalled. It worked fine, but on the next reboot, the error showed again when I run the "lSwitcher" icon.

There are two ways to run lSwitcher. One is by a program, and the other is as a widget in XCenter. Do NOT attempt to run both at the same time (best to not even install both, at the same time). You need to manually select which way you want to run it, when you get to the list of install options. Neither one is selected by default.

Thanks Doug.

I think I understand the issue after reading your tip. I installed everything with the installer, including the xcenter widget.
The issue is that even that I didn't added the widget on the xcenter, it seems to be running on the background and "Alt+Tab" is not showing. If I add the widget on the xcenter, the "Alt+Tab" menu will work.

I guess I will need to uninstall the xcenter widget.

Personally, I only use the widget. It is far less trouble than the program.

All classes, for XCenter widgets, get loaded (when XCenter starts), even if you don't use them. It is probably a good idea to remove unused DLLs from the XCenter plugins directory. Just move them somewhere else (close XCenter first), so you can put them back if you decide to use them.
