Title: [SOLVED] ext2/3 driver
Post by: jamiem on August 03, 2020, 02:29:17 am
Hi
Does anyone know of an ext2/3 file system driver for OS/2? I tried Google for one but had a hard time coming up with anything.

This appears to be an ext2 driver https://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/system/drivers/filesys/ext2_240.zip

That driver works very well, but it does not support recent ext2 file systems. By recent, I mean newer then about Linux Kernel v2 though it may be possible to init an ext2 system in such a way that it is usable or IIRC, format the Linux Partition form OS/2.
The driver also doesn't support EAs (xttrs) and is case sensitive by default.
As usual, you should do all partitioning with OS/2 tools, fdisk in your case.

Yes, I read the readme now,  I don't feel like modding my Linux partaston to make it readable. Not a big deal.
