For "young" people, OS/2 may only be interesting for retro computing / gaming. This requires, among other things, a modern and stable browser and better DOS/multimedia support than Dosbox. If Odin were on the same level as Wine, OS/2 would certainly be a very good alternative to 32-bit Linux.

Ultimately the question is: Why should I use OS/2 or ArcaOS for DOS/Windows gaming when everything is available under Windows itself and Linux. For DOS games you can easily use STEAM or GoG. The games are already packed into a Dosbox environment and you just have to start them and they also have sound

The menu also appears for me if I have more than one partition and it is a 5.1 GA.

There is Amouse 4.01 on the Arca Noae site under Resources and downloads. It may help.

Thanks, I've tried it. The mouse wheel doesn't work with the default settings. I'll try out the possible settings on page 5.

MS Office 4.2 also hangs up with a 100% CPU load when checking the available disk memory. Reason: the installer doesn't like large partitions... maybe the Lotus too?

Hi Martin, that's exactly what I mean. Or better yet, an “address line”. This makes navigating to folders using the keyboard even easier. In addition, it looks good too.

A toolbar in windows for better navigation of folders (like in Win9x / Object Desktop).

More extensive menu of the X button like the start menu of Win9x.
