What is the hardware you are trying to install on CPU, Mainboard, and hard drive type and size etc.?

I have to agree with Rich not everyone has the money to experiment with motherboards. So we do need to be careful with recommendations.

Ivan CSM is a given on any newer computer that has it. So yes I did. Also Secure boot as well.

Even switching to SATA  and shutting everything down.  My MSI B550 Pro will not install ARCA OS 5.07. And it will not run with the drive from my old install which is on an ASROCK B450M_HDV R4.0 Which works great by the way. Some of us may be forced to wait for ARCA OS 5.1.

The MSI B550-A PRO may be working for Ivan. but it quits right after I add the NVME driver to the install.. I must not have all I need to have turned off.

Ivan, I sort of disagree with that perspective. It is a good thing to create anticipation for a new product.Meaning sales will be good. What is bad in saying it will be out in a few weeks and it being months instead. But then I know having worked IT some things go insanely wrong and it goes that way for a time until someone gets the fix in. Arca Noae wants to be able to support the new product and continue to support the old one. This is admirable. I myself have been at the mercy of things becoming unsupported suddenly. It is a pain not to mention expensive.

Well I can report that your March 11 drivers work fine. Now that I have my no sound issue worked out. Something was wrong with the MMPM.ini. So it was not the drivers fault. The sound card is on an ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0.

Yes I remember back in the day a friend was running OS/2 for a business and he was having issues. I told him that particular issue was addressed in the readme file. He replies.. "Who reads those." I have found a review of documentation to save hours of grief with various OS's Mostly Windows Server.
