Title: Universal Resource Exitor
Post by: Mike La Martina on June 03, 2021, 03:04:48 am
I have downloaded URE115.Zip from Hobbes.  I unzipped the file and found an Install program.  When I run it I am asked to put a disk into my C: drive. How have others installed URE.

I have had the same prompt from Promanaire Designer.

Did you look at https://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/dev/pm/ureinstall.zip (https://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/dev/pm/ureinstall.zip)?
Basically you need to unzip ure115.zip to the root of a drive preserving the directory structure, x:\ure115 and then run the install.exe from there. Afterwards unzip urefix.zip into the newly installed DLL directory and then move ure.exe to the bin directory.

Thanks for the hint.  I followed the directions and did a successful installation.
