Title: Accessing ArcaOS support & maintenance subscription repository
Post by: gamba on October 20, 2017, 02:58:23 pm
Hi all,

I'm trying to access ArcaOS support & maintenance subscription repo, that is "arcanoae-arcaos" according to https://www.arcanoae.com/wiki/anpm/ , but I'm not lucky enough.

I added the repository through ANPM (please see attached screenshot) but I now always get a "Cannot retrieve metadata for repository: arcanoae-arcaos" error. As login credentials I used the same that I use for https://www.arcanoae.com/my-account . What I'm missing?

Thanks
Gabriele

Hi,

I have tried some weeks ago, but I do not believe it is active and setup yet. I think they write on there blog when active. Because as I have read there info regards Firefox rpm package will be av. for subscribers on same repo

So I just think we have to wait a little while.

I think Rene is right. I can access it with a long random password that Louis gave us.
There are things starting to appear there, but when I tried to install a package last night, one of its dependencies wasn't there yet.
There are also packages in the Netlabs exp repository that need to be moved to release before the ArcaOS one is activated.

Thanks all for the reply! I'll then wait for the official communication :-)
