Title: SYS0067: The network name cannot be found
Post by: karotlopj on April 19, 2016, 12:01:00 pm
I intermittantly get this SYS0067 error when I try to NET USE to shares on my FreeNAS box.

Anyone know why? I'm guessing that it may have something to do with the settings in IBMLAN.INI...

Are you using a fixed IP address for your nas or DHCP?  We had intermittent problems with our nas boxes until we gave them fixed IP addresses.

I can't see the logic there... If I successfully connect to a share on a server but fail to connect to a second share on the same server, I don't see how a fixed IP address would solve things. It looks like a resource issue to me.

You must have missed Ivan saying ... " We had intermittent problems..."

Also it's just best practices to have a fixed IP for your servers.
