Title: nss on RPM/YUM - Error z1.dll is needed
Post by: Martin Iturbide on February 24, 2017, 10:34:49 pm
Hi

Bitwise posted some updates on the RPM/YUM packages on twitter, so today I was updating it with ANPM and I found that packages that starts with "nss-" gave me an error that I need z1.dll.

Any idea on which package is z1.dll included?

Regards

Did you follow the directions to report the problem?

I did.

Hopefully, they will get it fixed, in a few days.

Martin,

You probably need the zlib files from the netlabs-exp repository. At least they are installed here and had no trouble getting the nss files.

The response to my report was:

It was a premature release which should have stayed in experimental repo (where it now lies). Please expect a move of a bunch of packages from exp to rel (including nss, nspr and many more) tomorrow or so.

The problem should now be solved.

No, the nss packages were moved to netlabs-exp, as Dmitriy wrote, until he will move a bunch of packages to netlabs-rel.

Yes. The problem is solved, until somebody screws up and puts a bad package in the release repo, again.
