Title: How is Arcaos backup & restore doing?
Post by: nyao on February 04, 2018, 02:01:06 am
Hi.
How is Arcaos backup & restore doing?
Can you use it from the command prompt of the installation DVD?
Until now, I did not mind using eCS on another drive.

Backup and restore should work the same as on eCS or older. There are better backup options.
Should work fine from the System Management launched from the DVD or soon, a USB stick. The ArcaOS System Management includes a QT based web browser so has a libc/QT environment and should run most OS/2 programs.

I am not good at English, so I am sorry for lack of explanation.
It is a question because the Backup command can not be used from the command prompt of the installation DVD.
