Title: Get removable media widget back
Post by: Doug Clark on March 06, 2018, 11:36:56 pm
I installed AROS 5.02, which has a very nice removable media widget in xcenter.

I missed some of the features of the full version of xWorkplace, so I uninstalled the existing XWPS via WarpIn so that I could install v 1.011.  Unfortunately the removable media widget is gone. Anyone know how to get that widget back?

Your mistake was that you uninstalled the Arca Noae version, before installing the full version of XWorkplace. You should have just installed over the Arca Noae version. The widget consists of RemMedia.dll, RemMedia.xqs,  and RemM_EN.msg (EN may be different for different languages). You can extract them from the Arca Noae installer DVD in \CID\SERVER\ARCAPKG\ANXWP_EN.WPI. I use WPIVIEW (from HOBBES) to do things like that.
