Title: Disk Images
Post by: christech on September 21, 2022, 05:45:34 pm
I ran across some games that are disk images. My machine doesn't have a floppy drive, is there a way to mount image files? I saw Virtual Floppy Disk Driver, will this accomplish this task?

The virtual floppy driver works well as long as things aren't hard coded to look for drive A:

With the virtual floppy driver, I can just use rawrite to write the image to the virtual floppy? Just asking if that is the correct method for ArcaOS.

The easy method I use is EMT4PM from   https://dvalot@free.fr/OS2programs.html
It can also check and mount your image files.

That URL is not quite what you meant to post ;)

Try instead http://dvalot.free.fr/OS2programs.html and choose the version you like best.

Thanks Tom, I always forget it is only http.  I must say there are some good OS/2 programs there.
