Title: A new video about OS/2 after more than 4 Years...
Post by: Sigurd Fastenrath on December 04, 2024, 11:51:20 pm
Today I released a new video on Youtube, after almost 4 years rest.

It is about my attempt to virtualize OS/2 on ARM64 CPU - Windows on ARM64 - Surface Pro 11.

Unfortunately for most of you it is in German, I do not know if simultanius Online translation is possible.

I hope you enjoy!

Important notice: Until now the Video is not fully processed by Youtube, so it may take some hours to become visibale / available!

From now on, English Subtitles are available, so does Spain and French.

To be adjusted via the Video Settings, switch on Subtitles and open the settings Button.

Regardless of our decreasing user-count, OS/2 is probably going to survive the heat death of the universe at this rate. Very nicely done, Sigurd!

Hi Sigurd,
That's a nice 'write-up', good video coverage of the functionality. Thank you sir!

Hi Sigurd,

Thank you very much!

As it turned out to be, the x86 Box ARM 64 Beta Version does run better then the windows 64bit Version. That time I did not configure it right.

So I strongly recommend to use the x86Box ARM64 Beta with an Windows on ARM 64 devixe like the SurfacePro 11 or the Thinkpad T14s Qualcomm.
