Title: LibreCAD
Post by: Michael on January 15, 2026, 08:30:53 am
Many thanks to Elbert Pol for some great ports of software to OS/2.

I have two questions about LibreCAD:

In the new version, a command line window appears when starting. This was not the case with older ports. Is there a way to disable this?

As with all LibreCAD versions, panels can no longer be docked once they have been undocked. Is there a way to dock again?

Greetings/2
Michael

Hi Michael,

Yes you're right about the annoying cmd line...
You can do exehdr /PMTYPE:PM librecad.exe that should fix it.
Here is it without the cmd
http://rpm.netlabs.org/test/Martin/LibreCAD-2.2.1.3-qt5-15012026-os2.7z

About the docked thing must be onnest i did not test it heavy up here.
I will look into it..

   And thankz agin :)

  Kind regards, Tellie

This has worked for me in the past when the command line window is started along with the program.

Right click on program object
Select properties
Select Session
Check Start minimized
exit
