This is new. I never seen it before, but it happens to every attachment. The only information I have is from the POPUPLOG.OS2

It does not matter what kind of attachment it is, nor the size.
Can anyone help?

Hi Einar
please take a look here http://www.ecsoft2.org/thunderbird (http://www.ecsoft2.org/thunderbird) or http://www.ecsoft2.org/comment/4#comment-4

If you see crashes while dealing with attachments, try adding
SET MOZ_NO_RWS=1
to your CONFIG.SYS file.
What is it for?
- set MOZ_NO_RWS=1
Use this to disable Remote Workplace Server support
Maybe that helps

Thank you.
Now it is OK.

The first mail with attachment after rebooting was OK, the next not. While including the attachment the cpu-meter shows about 100% utilization for a few seconds and then crashes.
What to try now?
