Applications / Re: OS/4 (non technical issues)

Martin, one big problem with what you would like to see, IBM. They have been asked once maybe twice to release OS/2 to Open source. They have had reasonable excuses for not doing that, maybe. I personally would love to see the model of development evolve and grow and even flourish. but alas I fear that is not going to happen. With fewer OS/2 users it is doubtful about positive response from IBM.

I have a problem with the USB stick creating too small a partitcian than I need to copy the ISO to it. One time it created a FAT and the other time a FAT32. Both were under 2 GB's.

Internet / Re: Browser or website problem?

Well, In Windows 10 it works with Falkon and it was released last year. So I would say if it goes well  you will have no problem with the new QT5 based browser.

Setup & Installation / Re: ArcaOS - in place upgrade - version 5.0.4
« on: June 04, 2020, 12:03:22 am »
I agree with Neil. I used to have a different drive with just the applications on it.Of course this was when I was just running OS/2 4.50. I move away from it when I started using ecomstaion. I have continued that practice with Arca OS.

Uniaud32-linux-3.2-debug.zip ended up working great on both my laptop and my desktop. The volume was very low. I used PMmixer to raise it on my laptop. My desktop has a USB audio device. So PMmix doesn't work.

It would be tremendous if this could be ported to Arca OS or any other OS/2 variant.
