I was researching my options to move forward. And found a comfortably priced  ATI Radeon X800 XL 256MB PCI-E https://www.ebay.com/itm/ATI-Radeon-X800-XL-256MB-PCI-E/284012076685?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649. That supports snap. It comes with a dvi and vga. Will i be able to use a hdmi to dvi with no problems? I use a monitor with only hdmi connections. A 40 inch 4k monitor.
Thanks

Okay! What about more modern radeon gpu's? Even though I have a agp x1200. I have for my s20 a 6450 radeon. And a couple of 7000 series radeons. Would that suffice? The intel graphics sound nice. I have a couple of intel GMA boards laying around  8)

Hardware / Question about a sound card and GPU

Hi,
I have a Thinkstation S20. That I want to use with ArcaOS. I will be buying a Sound Blaster Live! sound card and a Envy24 Maudio 2496 card. Currently the GPU is powered by a nvidia gts 250. I'm wondering if all of this hardware shouldn't be a problem. I know for sure the on board audio work. As i saw a similar spec hardware. That had onboard audio working. In the hardware tested section. I also have a spare dell 4800 with ide. For a drop in placement. Looking to run Arca on this beefy xeon.
